Welcome to Seaside High School!

Behavioral Expectations Challenge

Behavioral Expectations Challenge - As announced at least weeks rally, students will be earning tickets from now until the end of the 1st Quarter.  On the last Friday of the 1st Quarter (9/29) we will select the winning ticket at lunch in the Greek.

How do students earn a ticket? Last week every teacher received a Behavioral Expectations poster in their mail box.  If a student can recite the four expectations in order then the student will receive a ticket. Students can earn one ticket per teacher.

A second way students can earn 8 tickets is by creating a 1 minute video about our Behavioral Expectations.  If the video is posted on our website then they will earn 8 additional tickets.  Students, send these videos to our Activities Director Rikee Ross.

Project Based Learning at Seaside High School

As we continue our partnership with New Tech Network and integrating project based learning with 1:1 technology for every student the classroom experience will begin to shift.  The video below provides an example of a project within our Physics classrooms and is a glimpse of the unique experiences our students will be a part of as we move forward with our vision.

SHS' First Environmental Fair was featured by National Marina Sanctuaries

Seaside High students were recently featured in the National Marina Sanctuaries news for leading the zero waste movement by combating marine debris. Click here and scroll down four paragraphs to see our SHS students pictured at SHS' first Environmental Fair, and scroll down seven paragraphs to see Highland Elementary and Los Arboles Middle earn a shout out for their participation in classroom and campus-wide waste audits. Super cool stuff!
